We stayed at The Ridge House for my 40th birthday, and from the 1st point of contact, Kristy went above and beyond to make the weekend an amazing experience. Everything was beautiful, including her family and her hospitality.
When we arrived, we were greeted with the most beautiful welcome hamper, which included a Chocolate torte cake lovingly made and decorated with home-grown raspberries. We chose to have a welcome dinner supplied which included fresh pasta and a sauce entirely made from fresh ingredients from the Green Hills Farm.
We embarked on the farm tour hosted by Neil and Kristy and their beautiful daughter Lilly in collaboration with String and Salt. What a wonderful experience that was, and we have all been inspired to build our own worm farms and grow more veggies.
We also had the privilege of having Trevor Perkins from Hogget Kitchen come to the Ridge House and cook the most beautiful meal, including mind-blowing starters. The only complaint I have is that it all had to come to an end, and we had to leave.
I have no hesitation in recommending The Ridge House for anyone who wants a break from the race.

If you are looking for Gippsland accommodation that epitomises everything that this part of the world has to offer, then look no further. Incredible views in all directions, particularly across to Mt Baw Baw that changes during the day. Fresh produce from the farm greets you on arrival, including the local farm honey. I would recommend the arrival dinner - a welcome touch after a day's travel. The location is a great launchpad to explore Gippsland. Can't recommend enough...'
